Being both an agricultural and coastal town, agriculture, livestock, and fishing remain to be the major industries of Lingayen. Another major industry is the making of world-class bagoong particularly in the village called Barangay Maniboc. Further, a substantial percentage of its population is involved in the manufacturing of bocayo (sweetened coconut), nipa vinegar and nipa roof shingles,, bamboo crafts and furnitures, and coconut midribs and buri crafts.
