AN ORDER DECLARING THE SUSPENSION OF CLASSES IN ALL LEVELS OF PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS AND WORK IN ALL GOVERNMENT OFFICES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LINGAYEN ON OCTOBER 03, 2025

WHEREAS, it is a declared policy of the State to uphold the people’s constitutional rights to life, health, safety and property and to promote the general welfare of its people at all times, especially during disasters and calamities.
WHEREAS, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has forecasted that Tropical Storm “Paolo” is likely to intensify while within the Philippine Area of Responsibility and expected to bring heavy rainfall until the afternoon of October 04, 2025.
WHEREAS, the Province of Pangasinan, issued Executive Order No. 0103, Series of 2025
Declaring the Suspension of Classes at All Levels in Both Public and Private Schools Due to Tropical Storm “Paolo” on Friday, October 3, 2025.
NOW THEREFORE, I, Josefina “Iday” V. Castañeda, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the SUSPENSION OF CLASSES IN ALL LEVELS OF PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS AND WORK IN ALL GOVERNMENT OFFICES in the entire Municipality of Lingayen on October 03, 2025.
However, those offices that are responsible for delivering basic health services, responding to disasters and calamities, or performing other essential functions shall continue their operations and provide the necessary services.
The suspension of work for Private Companies and Offices is left to the discretion of their
respective heads.
