Know Your Limits
Never Swim Alone: Always have a buddy with you. Even the strongest swimmers can get into trouble.
Check the Flags: Pay attention to beach warning flags. If you see a Red Flag, stay out of the water!
Stay Sober: Alcohol and swimming are a dangerous mix. Stay sharp and stay safe.
Watch the Water
Supervise Children: Never leave kids unattended near the water, even for a second. Constant “eyes-on” supervision is key.
Beware of Rip Currents: If caught in a current, don’t fight it. Swim parallel to the shore until you are free, then head back to land.
