Blessing and Deployment of Amphibious Excavator Equipment by the DPWH to the Municipality of Lingayen. A request made by Mayor Leopoldo N. Bataoil to the national agency to address and help alleviate flooding problem in Lingayen.
Present in today’s activity are District Engineer Edita Manuel, representing Regional Director Ronnel Tan of DPWH R1, PDRRMO Chief Col. Popoy Oro, representing Gov. Amado Espino III, municipal officials and department heads, chiefs of offices and other support group.
DE Manuel committed to LGU Lingayen, a DPWH-funded operation of the floating excavator/dredging machine for as long as the town needs it, being a catch basin of water coming from various places, in and outside the province.
