Celebrating Lingayen’s Culture and Heritage through Gastronomic Experience

In observance of the World Gastronomy Day, the Balitok a Tawir Association, in cooperation with the Lingayen Culture and Arts Council (LCAC) and the Lingayen People’s Council, conducted an event titled “Panangan: Lutong Pamana ng Lingayen” on June 18, 2026, at the Servillano Dela Cruz Auditorium.
“Panangan: Lutong Pamana ng Lingayen” is an initiative of the organization that aims to celebrate Lingayen’s rich culinary traditions and cultural heritage through different gastronomic activities such as kakanen cooking demonstrations, Kwento Ni Bai Storytelling, Bangus Cooking Competition, and food exhibit.
Through these activities, participants were to appreciate Lingayen’s culture and heritage through an immersive gastronomic experience.
