Construction of FTI Fish Processing Plant and Cold Storage Facility in Lingayen, Underway

Five months after the groundbreaking ceremony of the Food Terminal, Inc (FTI) Fish Processing Plant and Cold Storage Facility in Lingayen, FTI officials once again visited the municipality to check the ongoing construction of the facility on September 1, 2023.
FTI officials were warmly welcomed by Mayor Leopoldo N. Bataoil together with the department managers. “Thank you, FTI for supporting our plans and programs in the name of “food security” for all Filipinos and “national economy” for our beloved country. Lingayen will be at FTI’s frontline aligned with PBBM’s vision “to make this country great again and again”, Mayor Bataoil said in his message.
The FTI delegation was composed by its President and CEO Atty. Lara Brusola, Chairperson Judge Porferio Mah (Ret) and Board of Directors including our kabaleyan, Ret Col. Mariano Luis “Sonny” Verzosa.
The municipal government is looking forward to the completion and soon operation of the fish processing plant that will definitely benefit fisherfolks and other agricultural producers in this town, the province and even the region.
This project that will eventually provide more jobs for residents and those even from nearby towns and will generate additional income for the municipality. (MIO)
