
Flag Ceremony October 16, 2023
October 16, 2023: Monday flag ceremony by the municipal employees of Lingayen, headed by Mayor Leopoldo N. Bataoil and Members of the Sangguniang Bayan today, as well as the awarding of Certificates of Commendation to the following employees, departments, and government offices:
-Mr. Arvin Kristoffer F. Ungson, for completing the Online Course on Building Business Friendly and Competitive Local Government Units: Rebuilding Confidence in the New Normal from July 5-August 18, 2023
-Municipal Treasury Office headed by Ms. Lilibeth Manaoat, for receiving a positive observation from the Commission on Audit (COA) as LGU Lingayen adheres to prescribed rules and regulations on cash transactions and all government funds were properly accounted for.
-Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) headed by MWSD Officer Lorenza R. Decena, together with the Municipal Health-RHU Doctors, for attaining the Seal of Child Friendly Local Governance for LGU Lingayen.
-Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Lingayen headed by FSINSP Kevin G. Banawag, for their exceptional contributions to community well-being through their programs that reflect their commitment to environmental stewardship and public safety.
– Philippine National Police (PNP) Lingayen headed by PLTCOL Roderick Y. Gonzales, top-ranked Municipal Police Station in Region 1 for achieving an outstanding rating of 99.38% in the Unit Performance Evaluation for September 2023.
Mayor Bataoil assured everyone that the LGU Lingayen promotes fair and honest elections wherein no guns, golds, and goons will be allowed in the municipality. He also reminded the employees, officials, and the different departments to work hand in hand to accomplish the needed activities and projects of the LGU for the welfare of the general public. This week’s host of the ceremony is the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Lingayen.
