The Lingayen Ldrrmo (LDRRMO) convened a coordination meeting with the barangay chairpersons from the southern barangays to address pressing concerns related to flood gate operations, early warning systems, and preparedness measures ahead of possible flooding events.
One of the main topics discussed was the management and condition of flood gates, which are critical in protecting low-lying areas from rising water. The LDRRMO shared updates on the current status of these flood gates, including maintenance schedules and how they will be operated during heavy rains or typhoons. It was emphasized that all barangay leaders must be informed and involved in flood gate operations to ensure quick and united action.
