JOINT INSPECTION UPDATE | Barangay Quibaol 🚨

In line with ensuring environmental compliance and public safety, the Joint Inspection Team composed of the Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO), Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), Municipal Engineering Office (MEO), Municipal Health Office – Sanitation (MHO-Sanitation), and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) conducted its initial inspection last March 25, 2026, followed by a second joint inspection today, March 30, 2026, at the Manuel Junk Shop located in Barangay Quibaol.
The inspections were carried out in response to concerns raised under an ARTA complaint, with the objective of assessing the establishment’s compliance with existing environmental, health, safety, and regulatory standards.
During the most recent inspection, Mr. Dennis Manuel, owner of the said junk shop, expressed his full cooperation and commitment to comply with all the necessary recommendations and corrective actions identified by the Joint Inspection Team.
Notably, Mr. Manuel gave his assurance that is he is starting to comply all the necessary actions to be taken within the prescribed period given by the regulatory offices and if not, he will voluntarily cease operations and close the junk shop.
The concerned offices will continue to closely monitor the compliance of the establishment within the given timeframe.
