LGU Lingayen welcomes the Food Terminal, Inc. (FTI) Team

OCTOBER 7, 2022: LGU Lingayen welcomes the Food Terminal, Inc. (FTI) Team, who visited Lingayen last Friday for the confirmation of site and final engineering design of the proposed P50M marine processing plant and cold storage facility.

The proposed Two-storey FTI Building in Lingayen will be situated at a 2000 sq. m. lot at Palaris Interchange, Brgy. Poblacion. Its strategic location can be reached by land and water through the proposed new road networks and the development of an existing waterway adjacent to the area. Once completed, the project which will also include cold storage facilities will boost socio-economic activities of the municipality, Province of Pangasinan, and Region 1 relative to fisheries and aquatic resource development.

Lat September 22, 2022, Mayor Leopoldo N. Bataoil together with Municipal Administrator Roberto Sylim inked an agreement with FTI through a Memorandum of Understanding for the implementation of the said project in Lingayen.
