Lingayen Bagoong Manufacturers Association Gears Up for Bagoong Festival 2026

The Lingayen Bagoong Manufacturers Association formally established its new leadership and organizational framework through the appointment of its new set of officers on February 18, 2026, at the Municipal Conference Hall.

The election was conducted to unify the efforts of local bagoong producers in the municipality into a single accredited organization serving as a foundation that provides a legitimate voice and representation for Lingayen’s bagoong manufacturers.

The association is set to make its grand debut during the Bagoong Festival (LBF) 2026, a three-day celebration scheduled from March 18 to 20.

To ensure all members feel included and valued, the association has initiated programs such as a night of fun and fellowship, distribution of official organization t-shirts, and a members’ raffle. By pooling their resources and prioritizing a shared vision, these local producers showcase the pride, heritage, and craftsmanship behind Lingayen’s famous bagoong.

Mayor Josefina V. Castañeda congratulates the newly appointed officers, who are scheduled to formally take their Oath of Office during the LBF 2026 celebration, particularly at the Labi na Manag-Inasin event.
