Monday Flag Ceremony | October 9, 2023
October 9, 2023: Monday flag-raising ceremony by the municipal employees of Lingayen, headed by Mayor Leopoldo N. Bataoil and Members of the Sangguniang Bayan today, as well as the awarding of certificate of accreditation to the Lingayen Market Ukay Vendors Association, and awarding of certificates of recognition to the following:
-DILG Apprentices namely LGOO II Olivia Kaye Finn, LGOO II Carlo Apostol, and LGOO II Mildred De Guzman, who worked with the DILG Lingayen for the past three months;
-Djohamie Denise V. Urayan, Top 10 of the October 2023 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examination;
-Ms. Cheryl B. De Guzman, Principal III of Lingayen I Central School, Region 1 Gawad Lam-Ang Award for Outstanding School Head; and
-Dr. Elbert M. Galas, President of Pangasinan State University, Dangal ng Bayan Awardee of Civil Service Commission.
Joining the Flag Ceremony also are the 13 official candidates of the 2024 Limgas na Baley na Lingayen for their presentation and sashing ceremony led by the municipal officials and the pageant committee.
Mayor Bataoil assured everyone that all of the activities for the upcoming Town Fiesta including the amusement park will undergo thorough inspection for the safety and welfare of everyone. This week’s host of the ceremony is the Senior Citizen’s Office of Lingayen.
