MUSLIM BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT 2024 AWARDING CEREMONY

The Awarding Ceremony for the Lingayen Muslim Basketball Tournament 2024 was conducted yesterday, February 5, 2024, at the Lingayen Civic Center.

The basketball tournament was initiated by Mayor Leopoldo N. Bataoil in collaboration with the Lingayen Police Station headed by Officer-in-Charge PLTCOL Vicente Castor Jr., the Lingayen Baywalk Vendors Federation, and the organizing team.

The said friendly tournament was started last January 6, 2024, and was participated in by the different teams from the Muslim Community, Local Government Unit (LGU) employees, Public Order and Safety Office (POSO), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Lingayen, and Philippine National Police (PNP) Lingayen.

Here is the list of winners:

3rd Runner-Up: Team Ewaton
2nd Runner-Up: Team Slasher
1st Runner-Up: Team Baratillo
Champion: Team Thunder

Mayor Bataoil was delighted by the success of the tournament organized for the Muslim Community, which plays a big part in the economic and social aspects of the municipality.
