Filing of Application for the 07 June 2026 Fire Officer Examination (FOE) and Penology Officer Examination (POE)

The Civil Service Commission Regional Office 1 announces the conduct of FOE and POE in Region 1, with details as follows:
To establish a Register of Eligibles (RoE) from which certification and appointment to second level ranks in the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) for FOE and POE, respectively, and other functionally related positions shall be made, provided the eligibles meet the qualifications and other requirements of the positions.

TRANSFER OF TESTING CENTER
Requests for transfer of testing center may be permitted in extraordinary situations and under certain meritorious cases (e.g., transfer of residence/workplace where travelling to the testing center would be extremely difficult), subject to the evaluation and approval of the CSCRO/FO concerned. Such request shall be made and submitted not later than five (5) working days after the deadline for filing of application (i.e., on or before 16 April 2026). Strictly, no request for transfer of testing center shall be accepted beyond said period. Hence, applicants are advised to be circumspect and certain in determining the testing center where they intend to take the examination.

The written request must: (i) indicate the reason for the transfer of testing center; (ii) be accompanied by supporting evidence, and a copy of the Application Receipt; and (iii) be sent to the CSCRO/FO where the exam application was filed, either personally, or through email, or courier.

Considering that online payment is not yet available in Region I, payment shall be made on scheduled personal appearance at the CSC Field/Regional Office.

GUIDELINES AND REQUIREMENTS
During the personal appearance, bring the following:
1.Fully accomplished Application Form (CS Form No. 100, Revised 2023-Fire Officer Examination/Penology Officer Examination)
2.Four (4) passport-size pictures with nametag and signature
3.Original and photocopy of valid I.D. card (not expired).
4.Examination fee of P700.00
