Regular Monday Flag Raising Ceremony

June 9, 2025: Regular Monday flag raising ceremony by the municipal employees of Lingayen, headed by Mayor Leopoldo N. Bataoil, together with the Sangguniang Bayan, headed by Vice Mayor Mac Dexter G. Malicdem.

Coinciding with today’s ceremony is the turnover of the Cultural Mapping Program Book 1 to the Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office (PTCAO), Municipal Library, and Center for Pangasinan Studies, and the awarding of Certificate of Recognition to Mr. Gerald Manaoat (son of Mr. Riego Manaoat of MENRO) for passing the May 2025 Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountants, and to the children of Ms. Lilibeth Manaoat (Municipal Treasurer), namely Cytha Kei Manaoat and Cyrus Karl Manaoat who graduated Summa Cum laude and Cum laude respectively.

Joining us also this morning are Dr. Venus Agustin and Ms. Fauzia Annie Andanar of the Universal Peace Federation, Ms. Malou Elduayan of PTCAO, Ms. Myrna Padlan, and Dr. Jerry Ceballos Jr., as well as the Lingayen Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association (TODA) and Pedicab Operators and Drivers Association (PODA.

In his message, Mayor Bataoil encouraged and gave guidance to the employees and the guests to work hand in hand and support the programs of the next administration. “Huwag tayong maging pabigat o gumawa ng anumang dahilan para hindi magsucceed and mga proyekto. It is for the love of Lingayen. You gave me your support, cooperation, love, and prayers during my term, it is not for Bataoil, it is for Lingayen…Kung sakali man na umiba ng direction, you are the forces, and someone up there will guide us. We have been awarded for many years in good governance and unmodified audit opinion, the most coveted award for a few LGUs, which includes Lingayen…Magtulungan tayo.”

This week’s ceremony was hosted by the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO).
