Starting the Year Right! ✨📖📚📖⭐

Twenty-five BS Criminology Interns from the University of Luzon kicked off the year with purpose and passion as they took part in an inspiring discussion titled “Being a Parak is an Adventurous Job.” Beyond discovering the realities and excitement of police work, the interns were guided on the qualities of a good police officer, as well as goal setting, leadership, strategic planning, and licensure exam tips–all crucial foundations for professional growth and success in the upcoming Criminologist Licensure Examination. The session was enriched by the valuable insights of Librarian Catherine R. Talaro,LPT,RL, who emphasized preparation, discipline, and lifelong learning, and Mr. Joselito D. Crisostomo, Jr., Executive Assistant and representative of Municipal Vice Mayor Jay Mark Kevin D. Crisostomo, who highlighted the importance of good governance, ethical conduct, accountability, transparency, and the rule of law in practicum experiences. With active participation and enthusiastic engagement, the interns proved their readiness to learn, lead, and serve. This meaningful program–made possible through the partnership of the Lingayen Municipal Public Library and the Philippine National Police, Lingayen’s Finest, Lingayen Police Station — aims to sharpen analytical thinking, develop essential skills, and prepare future criminologists for real-world challenges.
