THE TROPICAL DEPRESSION HAS ENTERED THE PHILIPPINE AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY AND WAS NAMED “OPONG”.

The center of Tropical Depression OPONG was estimated based on all available data at 1,045 km East of Northeastern Mindanao (10.4°N, 135.0°E).
• Intensity
Maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 70 km/h
• Present Movement
West southwestward at 10 km/h
No Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal Raised
