QUEENIE MAINTAINS ITS STRENGTH WHILE OVER THE PHILIPPINE SEA.
Location of Center (10:00 AM):
The center of Tropical Storm QUEENIE was estimated, based on all available data, at 1,065 km east of Extreme Northern Luzon.
Intensity:
Maximum sustained winds: 75 km/h near the center
Gustiness: Up to 90 km/h
Present Movement:
Northwestward at 20 km/h
Extent of Tropical Cyclone Winds:
Strong to gale-force winds extend outward up to 370 km from the center.
