Location:
The center of Severe Tropical Storm OPONG was estimated based on all available data including those from Guiuan Doppler Weather Radar at 195 km East Northeast of Guiuan, Eastern Samar or 225 km East of Borongan City, Eastern Samar.
Intensity
Maximum sustained winds of 110 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 135 km/h
Present Movement
Westward at 15 km/h
