“TINO” INTENSIFIES INTO A TYPHOON.
• Location of Center (10:00 AM)
The center of Typhoon TINO was estimated based on all available data including those from Guiuan Doppler Weather Radar at 285 km East Southeast of Guiuan, Eastern Samar (10.4°N, 128.3°E).
• Intensity
Maximum sustained winds of 120 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 150 km/h
• Present Movement
West southwestward at 25 km/h
• Extent of Tropical Cyclone Winds
Strong to typhoon-force winds extend outwards up to 300 km from the center
No Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal raised in Lingayen (Pangasinan)
